MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical technique used to exfoliate & remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis. It is used only by a trained skin care professional. Microdermabrasion is a non invasive procedure using a suction device to improve the skin with the use of aluminum oxide crystals to abrade the skins texture. It is also used to decrease the appearance of superficial lines, hyperpigmentation and acne scars.

After micro treatments the skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure. We recommend to keep out of the sun and wear sunscreen for at least the next 7 - 10 days. Redness may occur but should disappear within the next 2 days, if the redness does not subside we recommend you treat it with a cold compress. We also ask clients to avoid tanning beds, hot pools, sauna's and excessive exercise within the next 48 hours as well.

Results vary depending on each person's skin type but results can be visible immediately while others need a few treatments to get the results desired within usually 6- 8 treatments.
